Handle all accounting work related to upstream business from reconciliation of intercompany balances, process payments & receipts, review expenditure statement for allocation of cost, perform monthly financial closing, prepare tax filing and annual statutory report.
Perform monthly and year end closing within stipulated timeline and provide management and E&P team accurate and complete financial statements for company’s subsidiaries with required management reports.
Prepare audit and other statutory compliance reports.
Reconcile intercompany balances between company and subsidiaries and issue intercompany billings accordingly.
Prepare monthly and annual tax filing.
Provide support for subsidiaries’ accounting and reporting
Review, process payments/receipts and prepare cash forecast with reconciliation for all upstream activities
Ensure all cash call paid is properly accounted for in the JV statement and ensure they are within Authorization for Expenditure (AFE)’s limit.
Maintain Fixed Asset register for company’s subsidiaries.
Any other duties as assigned.
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant full set experience (preferred E&P experience)
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Possess good interpersonal, analytical, communication skills and a good team player
Meticulous, attentive to details and able to multi-task
