The Accounting Manager shall work closely with the team to manage accounting, financial and bank information and records, including accounts payables and accounts receivables, bank statements and reconciliations and tax audits, and to ensure the company’s financial management and management reporting as well as the financial audits, are accurately presented on a timely basis.
Oversee, coordinate and monitor daily operations of the accounting department and those of the subsidiaries.
Perform or direct reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
Manage Group CAPEX and project evaluation.
Supervise accounting staff members in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports.
Accurately prepare tax returns and ensure that company taxes are reported and paid in a timely manner.
Organize and track the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions for timely, accurate and complete invoicing, collection, payment, and reporting.
Organize financial data into useable information for management reporting and maintain updated records.
Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
Participate in regular tax audits.
Coordinate with Finance Controller to prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
Analyze and prepare trial balances and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP).
Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives and reports with a coherent explanation of the variances on a timely basis.
Streamline processes and implement best practices for all entities
Organize and ensure that the financial assets and physical inventories of the Company are accurately and recorded in full, and reported with complete information, taking corrective action taken when needed.
Liaise with department heads to ensure that each department remains within their budget and ensure that all liquidations by each staff and employee are current and complete.
Ensure company financial reporting maintains compliance with GAAP and accounting legislation.
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation
At least 5 Year(s) of working experience as Accounting Manager or Supervisor
Audit exposure, with sound knowledge in consolidation and preparation of company and group financial statement will be an advantage.
With experience in IPO or public listed company is an added value.
Sound knowledge of current account principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SAP
Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills
Can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
