Job Description:

♦ Monday-Friday, 8.30AM-6:00PM, Casual Work Attire
  • Responsible for the full set accounts of review and day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Perform bookkeeping general ledger, AP, AR, inventory control, project costing, fixed assets and monthly depreciation, cash management, and bank reconciliation by using MYOB Software & Management Work Order Record.
  • Check employees’ expenses claim against receipts for reimbursement.
  • Prepare and maintain records of purchases and payments.
  • Prepare vouchers and write cheques, cheque deposits, and telegraphic transfers.
  • Ensure incoming cheques are recorded and banked in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist, maintain, and manage the office’s expenditure and petty cash within the expenditure budgetary limits.
  • Prepare Singapore companies’ financial reports including Income Statement and Balance Sheet according to the FRS standards.
  • Handle all regulatory submissions including GST returns.
  • Manage payroll, CPF, IRAS (IR8A, IR21, NS Claims, WDA) for employees.
  • Manage AR debt collections and follow up for overdue invoice and processing of payment to suppliers.
  • Prepare monthly audit schedules and adjustment entries.
  • Liaise with the external auditor and tax agents.
  • Report to the Directors and handle ad-hoc assignments.
  • Minimum ACCA/Diploma in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in GST, Local Tax Regulations, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) is required. Knowledge in MYOB Accounting Software and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
  • Ability to converse and liaise with external English and Chinese speaking vendors and suppliers.
  • Good team player, meticulous, independent, and possess good communication skills.
  • Prefer candidates who can commence immediately.
