We are looking for a Corporate Communications Specialist with exceptional public speaking and writing skills. The Corporate Communications Specialist is expected to be a strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, the Communications Specialist should be innovative, organised, and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and implement effective corporate communication strategies to foster and maintain a consistent brand image and identity that promotes internal loyalty while also creating loyal external customers.
Mange internal communications (memos, newsletters etc.)
Research, draft and write press releases, and content for the company’s website
Manage public communications including timely management of content (e.g. press releases, website, collaterals, social media, presentations), plan press activities, events and liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, queries, etc
Collaborate with marketing team to produce high-quality and error-free copy for digital materials, e.g. videos, email marketing, newsletters, articles, and presentations
Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team
Work with key internal stakeholders and design team to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives
Facilitate the resolution of disputes with public or external parties
Perform damage control in cases of bad publicity
Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, products, and services and to keep up to date with relevant developments
Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Media Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (essential)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as PR or Communication Specialist
Experience in content creation (newsletter, memo, videos) for all media platforms
Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal direction or supervision
Must be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Skills in copywriting, editing and video communications are a plus
Experience in web design and content production
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
