Job Description:

 Primary Objectives of Position
  • Assist Head, Compensation & Benefits in providing compensation and benefits support services for the assigned business unit(s) with view to ensuring compliance to statutory/legislative, business unit and Group rules and policies
  • Assist the Head, Benefits SSC to oversee and lead assigned team members in the operation of the Benefits Shared Services Centre team for the CDG Group
  • This holder of this position will provide support to one or more business units as assigned.  The business units assigned are subject to change and the holder will be informed accordingly of such changes by Head, C&B COE
Major Responsibilities
Compensation / Performance Management
  • Manage records of bus captain performance and system, including convening depot Board of Inquiry
  • Keep track of performance appraisal for staff and BCs
  • Preparation of data for AI, bonus and promotions for staff and BCs
Welfare & Benefits
  • Administration of medical claims submission and medical related matter, eg fit to drive policy, ASO etc
  • Administration of leave matters
  • Administration of various employee welfare benefits / policies, eg, staff passes, CEPAS cards, zoo passes
  • Administration of award nomination, training, events and ceremonies
  • Organization of employee engagement events
Work Injury Compensation
  • Manage Work Injury Compensation cases
Employee Services
  • Assist in administration of employment contract renewal, work passes, licenses
  • Assist in administration of checks on validity of BC DL & VL on regular basis
Others
  • Buddy for new C&B COE team members
  • Undertake and drive any projects as assigned 
  • Specific Safety Responsibilities
  • Any fire safety or related duties for the workplace as assigned
Job Specifications
Minimum Education / Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree
  • Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience at executive level, with knowledge of administering programs, policies and regulations for compensation, performance management, employee benefits, insurance and workplace health promotion.
  • Knowledge/Skills
  • Preferred IHRP certified
Advanced competence in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in using SAP and leave management systems
  • Thorough knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations (e.g. Employment Act, Work Injury Compensation Act, Child Co-savings Development Act)
Attributes (functional & leadership competencies)
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to interact well with all levels
  • Possess good organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to adapt well in a fast-paced and challenging environment
This is a 2 years contract with the opportunity to be converted to a permanent role.
