Job Description:

Responsibilities
Assist the Finance division in handling Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables and other ad-hoc
duties assigned by the division.
Accounts Payables
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational payment system and process
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
  • Maintain Vendor and Staff card in Finance System
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, inclusive of staff claims
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries on invoices
  • Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions – accounting payables and outgoing payments
  • in compliance with financial policies and procedures including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, charges expenses to accounts and cost centers and recording accounts payables’ data
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis, ensure timely closing of AP
  • Maintaining cash flow and petty cash – ensuring sufficient funds
Accounts Receivables
  • Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational billing system and process which relates to grant matters
  • Maintain Customer Card and record of CCL in Finance System
  • Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions – accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Preparing and generating invoices, account statements (accounts receivable files and records) and bank deposits (cash, checks, bank transfer and credit card transactions)
  • Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
  • Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries on invoices
  • Performing account reconciliations, producing monthly financial and management reports
Handling of Project Accounting 
  • Check Event Budget Form validity and route to relevant authority for approval
  • Maintaining Event in Finance System
Others
  • Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
  • Provide support for Events
Requirements
  • Diploma in in Accounting discipline or LCCI or CAT
  • With at least 1 year working experience in accounting field
  • Preferably proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting system
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and attention to detail
  • A team player who is willing to learn and take on different portfolios in a shared service environment
