Job Description:

We invite suitably qualified candidates to join us as:
Senior Finance Manager
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you would be responsible for the efficient management of the Club’s finance and to ensure that an accurate, timely and comprehensive set of accounts is maintained on all financial transaction.
  • Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, tax agents & banker.
  • Evaluate & streamline financial processes and workflows to enhance & improve the efficiency of the finance operations.
  • Assist in the implementation and formulation of financial and internal control policies and systems.
  • Ensure compliance of all financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of internal control for various accounting practices.
  • Ensure all finance staff are well trained on the financial systems & are effectively able to extract data.
  • Manage all accounting functions/control activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, income, general cashier, cost, receiving, purchasing and payroll.
  • Review Balance Sheet reconciliation and schedules.
  • Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy
  • Prepare, direct and coordinate Club financial planning and budget management functions.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and forecast.
  • Review monthly financial reports and liaise with various departments on operational issues related to finance.
  • Handle full sets of accounts and ensure that the records are maintained in accordance to Singapore Financial Standards.
  • Handle annual statutory audit and preparation of annual accounts/reports for compliance with local government regulations.
  • Review and approve all journal entries before posting entries to system
  • Handle ad-hoc financial matters & projects.
  • Handle property tax, GST submission and corporate income tax.
  • Review of monthly payroll payment processing.
  • Assist in the preparation of other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management.
  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA or its equivalent with minimum 8 years of related working experience in Finance with exposure to hotels / hospitality environment.
  • Proficient in Financial Analysis.
  • A detailed and meticulous individual with strong analytical skills with a Finance background.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and Finance related applications.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written, and positive attitude towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
  • Ability to lead, motivate a large team of staff, adapt, embraces strong cultural diversity, work in multi-ethnic teams.
