Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a small team for accounts payable, fixed assets, general ledger and cash management
  • Oversee the month end closing to ensure closing is done timely (updated all entries in SAP system) to ensure timely submission to holding company MOHH
  • Key liaison person for SAP chart of account GL code creation
  • Liaison with holding company (MOHH) monthly on the GL balances via Hyperion
  • Audit schedules preparation on a monthly basis
  • Liaison with external auditors, grant audits and Internal Audits for CRIS and all BUs. Attending and coordinating all the audit queries
  • Prepare yearly audited financial statement (Income Statement, BS and Cash Flow Statement) with notes to accounts
  • Prepare yearly audit pack and notes to account for holding company (MOHH) consolidation
  • Liaison with corporate services provider for annual filing
  • Review GST quarterly submission
  • Provide support in grant claims submission and grant monitoring
  • Compile all statutory surveys
  • Establish and maintain robust internal control systems
  • Identify and implement process improvement of finance procedures and accounting system (SAP System) for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger
  • Enhance financial policies and procedures to enhance corporate governance
  • Prepare financial updates for quarterly business review with BUs
  • Assist in the board paper preparation
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Seeking a driven and proactive finance professional with strong communication, interpersonal skills and team player
  • Energetic and willing to work under tight deadlines and deliver results
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP system
  • Experience in driving automation and process improvement will be a plus
  • Strong software skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Accountancy degree or ACCA

The Consortium for Clinical Research and Innovation Singapore (CRIS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of MOH Holdings, was established in 2020 with the goal of strengthening synergies and developing strategies for national-level clinical research and translation programmes that are under the stewardship of the Ministry of Health (MOH).
