Senior/ Officer, GL

Job Descriptions:
  • To work in the best interest for AETOS.
  • Real time reporting of latest non-manpower revenue figures. This includes:
  • Real time reporting of latest non-manpower revenue figures recorded from training, system sales, and consultancy services.
  • Breakdown of revenue figures by various details, such as by projects codes and by business segments.
  • Analysis of actual revenue performance on a month to month basis. This includes the commentary to explain the flux and variances.
  • Analysis of actual revenue performance against budget. This includes the commentary to explain the flux and variances.
  • Tracking and updating the project status by liaising with other departments.
  • Real time reporting for CAPEX expenditure and to handle all fixed assets matters.
  • To apply, process and maintain banker’s guarantee, DOA bank signatories, electronic banking access rights and any other banking facilities.
  • To perform any banking transactions at bank branches.
  • To prepare and maintain assets-related ledgers in the balance sheets of holding entity & non-manpower business entities and fixed assets schedules for all the entitles.
  • To update monthly cash flow reports.
  • Analysis of bonus scheme (joining bonus and gratuity bonus). This includes posting of entries to ensure proper accrual and recognition of expenses.
  • To assist Team Lead in reporting to shareholders.
  • To compute PLRD fees and franchise fees timely and accurately.
  • To collate reporting from subsidiaries/joint venture/associates.
  • To prepare GST filing.
  • To embark on work improvement initiatives continuously.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Familiar with FRS115 and FRS16
  • Knowledge of consolidation is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with ACCPAC and SAP would an advantage
  • Self-motivated team player and customers oriented
  • Meticulous
  • Ability to recognize and resolve problems
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written
  • Ability to meet tight time schedules
  • Willingness to handle tedious assignments
