Job Summary:
Perform application development, maintenance and support beside general IT support to the end-users.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Perform application and reports development and testing
  • Perform IT production support, i.e. troubleshooting, resolution and incident closure ¬†
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand the application requirements
  • Provide general IT support to end-users
  • Manage IT vendors
  • Create and maintain IT documentation
  • Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations
  • Provide progress updates and issue escalations to supervisor
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum Diploma holder in IT discipline
  • 5 years working experience with a good understanding of SDLC
  • Experience in writing SQL Server queries or other common DBs
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics, Office 365 and end-user computing is a plus
  • Experience in Product Configuration of Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM/ERP systems would be a strong advantage
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team
Core Competencies and Attributes:
  • Strong technical background in application development and support
  • Knowledgeable of best practices in general IT and end user support
  • Proficient in at least 1 programming language
  • Self-motivated, proactive, meticulous and adaptable to fast changes
  • Good communication skills and a team player
  • Prioritize tasks effectively and able to work well under pressure

About

TOUCH Community Services is a not-for-profit charitable organisation. We were officially registered in 1992 and have been a member of the National Council of Social Service since 1994. How we started The work of TOUCH started in 1986 as a service for latch-key children in the neighbourhoods of Clementi and Jurong. Touched by the obvious need of low-income and single-parent families with difficulties making ends meet, much less raising their children in a positive environment, a group of seven volunteers in their 20s organised activities to help the children. This small attempt has today become a multi-service organisation with an integrated network of 18 services, 20 centres and 24 children's clubs located at different parts of Singapore, including Bukit Merah, Clementi, Geylang Bahru, Hougang, Serangoon, Toa Payoh, Ubi and Yishun. Who we serve Over the years, TOUCH has reached out to many individuals from all religions and races, including children, youths, families, people with special and healthcare needs and the elderly. To promote greater awareness and exposure to overseas community work, we also partner closely with organisations in various countries in the areas of child adoption, community development and humanitarian relief.
