Job Description:

Primary Responsibility:

IT helpdesk

  • Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures

Secondary Responsibility:

Network & IT Infra Project (Training will be provided)

  • Help in tender proposal and tender documents
  • Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants and contractors 
  • Help to prepare drawings and documents for submission as per site requirement
  • Help plan, execute and supervise all IT related project and IT cabling work at site
  • Plan resources including mobilisation of tools and equipment
  • Coordinate and supervise installation, testing and commissioning work
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams on work progress as well as resolving technical issues
  • Ensure timely completion of projects
  • QAQC inspection for completed works
  • Conduct post-construction survey, combined testing with clients, handing over to clients and demobilisation from project site
  • Ensure environment, health and safety (EHS) standards and regulations are met and maintained

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or degree in relevant subject
  • Entry-level welcomed, training will be provided
  • Experienced candidates will be considered for a senior role
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Committed, positive attitude & willing to learn
  • Able to handle projects independently after training
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of IT softwares (e.g. Microsoft Sharepoint, AutoCAD), databases and remote desktop control
  • Good understanding of networking, computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
