You will provide support to the principal investigator by recruiting participants and collecting data for the study while ensuring proper conduct and implementation of all research activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with a multidisciplinary research team in the community, primary care and/or hospital setting.
Recruitment, liaison and collect data from participants for the study (during and/or after office hours and/or weekends).
Enter and organize data collected from the participants into a database for downstream analysis purposes.
Perform literature search whenever necessary.
Conduct interviews and facilitate focus group discussions.
Provide coverage to other clinical studies which may involve specimen collection and processing.
Perform other duties as directed by Principal Investigator and Research Fellow.
Minimum diploma in relevant healthcare discipline (e.g. Nursing, Pharmacy, Psychology,
Social Work) OR relevant diploma (e.g. Humanities and Social Sciences).
Previous academic or research experience in conducting public health studies preferred.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Oral and written proficiency in local languages (e.g. Malay, Mandarin preferred).
Astute critical thinking skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
