Job Description:

  • To facilitate and coordinate the management of the relevant medical specialty or
  • departments to achieve the mission of the Hospital; through ensuring provision of
  • quality patient care, business and financial growth.
  • Translate and communicate the vision, strategic and business plans of the hospital to the
  • relevant areas and ensure alignment of goals and objectives of all departments.
  • Provide guidance and directions in the management, planning, organising, coordinating
  • and operational processes of the departments and areas assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to implement or facilitate strategies with Clinical Services Director
  • of the relevant medical specialty as assigned to ensure services meet customers’ needs.
  • Develop, mentor and guide staff to ensure good leadership and succession planning.
  • Create a conducive environment to facilitate open communications, multi-disciplinary
  • teamwork.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans for achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and monitor key performances and customer service standards across
  • Operations department to ensure customers’ satisfaction.
  • Ensure adequate resources are provided for services to perform to the expectations of
  • the customers and in alignment with the Hospital’s business and financial objectives.
  • Drive annual programme workplan and budgetary planning or review.
  • Set up programmes to promote continuous improvement and learning, as well as to
  • facilitate auditing and reviewing of services and CME provided.
  • Any other projects and assignments as directed by CEO / COO / Directors
  • Basic degree & Postgraduate degree in hospital and administrative preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in healthcare or service industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications such as Words, Excel and Power Point

About Alexandra Hospital Alexandra Hospital (AH) has been under the National University Health System (NUHS) since 1 June 2018, and will serve as a 326-bedder facility, providing seamless, one-stop comprehensive care by one care team to some 100,000 residents in the Queenstown precinct (the oldest housing estate) and Southwest and the rest of Singapore. Alexandra Hospital is the first Integrated General Hospital in Singapore providing holistic and seamless care from acute, sub-acute to rehabilitative settings, reducing the need for a patient to transfer to another healthcare institution. Our clinical model is team-led and programme-based. This means that every patient who comes to Alexandra Hospital will be placed under at least one of our five core clinical programmes, and be taken care by a single doctor and the same care team, under one of these programmes. AH will also be the site for staging innovative health and care as well as person-centric solutions with a view to enabling best practices to be scoped, shared and scaled.
